Musee d'Objets OrdinairesBefore I get to my main feature, I want to deal with a couple of news items. The first is about
where I've started a collaborative puzzle project. The starting puzzle is 2ft x 3 ft (roughly 60cm x 90cm) and the 24 pieces are about 8in (20cm) across. Contributors can alter pieces as they wish, through drawing or collage, though obviously in no way that will prevent me from reassembling it. You can incorporate the art already on the pieces (a farm scene), or cover it completely. If you'd like to participate, just flash me a note as twenty pieces are still available.
Through this same awesome group, I've started collaborating on playing card collages. I have a small pile of partial playing card collages ready to go out to anyone who wants them. Again, just shoot me a note. See some samples here: http://artfuldodgers.deviantart.com/gallery/26971189
Second news item is that one of my street photos was chosen as one of the photos of the week by

BLUE MONDAY XIIIThey say the sky high above is Caribbean Blue.
This weekly feature may or may not have been inspired by New Order and Chance.
In diesem Teil der Welt ? Mindestens !
... and there's also this nice relaxing feeling of... vacation...
...Stones that look like bread.... ...Yummy stones!
i love this shot! and the colors!!!
Kind thanks, Martina I also like a certain freshness in this picture myself.
Wow, I love this!!
I am really fascinated by this image the light on the stones... the blue of the sea... the feeling that it is all so close and real...
Isn't it? "Airy" was an idea from Yvette. And when you look at these stones, how delicate they are balanced - it is just the right word. But also for the general feeling of the image. I think of it as a lighting spirit image
I absolutely adore this one. It's so clear and the colors are amazing!
Kind thanks, Cristina. The colours are almost Mediterranean, wouldn't you agree? But it is at the Atlantic coast in France - I was amazed myself.
The art of creating a stone wall has always enthralled me...fitting just the right stone into place to maintain balance and structure. Some are tight-fitting and impenetrable, and last for hundreds of years...this one, light and airy in feeling.
Airy - this is the word I was looking for. Thank you
.very nice Ulrich !
