There´s again that unnatural abstract dreamy stillness , this could be painting of Hopper or some other painter who uses such style .

Now that certainly is huge compliment ! The only difference that I see is that Hopper mostly uses TWO sources of light :giggle:
Thanks !

The "Champagne" region of France. I have passed it so very often.
Too far for a weekend trip, too far from the sea for a longer vacation.
It seems that I need a PLAN for this ! ;-)
(great potential for landscapes and landscape abstracts !)
Thank you, my dear friend

i'm happy i recognized my region of birth. ^^
i can only confirm that there's a very strong potential for landscapes. its emptiness is rather poetic. lots of curves as well.
but just as you said, most people pass by, and rarely take the time to stay there. i've never been wanting to photograph it more than since i moved away. you remind me i must have a couple of good pics on film that i should scan...

i was born in Reims, biggest town of the region, but i grew up at the border with neighbour region, in a small town called Sainte Ménehould. Just between the kind of empty fields you saw and marvelous forests. My parents still live there. every time i bring Hasselblad, Olympus and so on. ^^
