:iconcolornote: Who can blame me

Who can blame me thinking:
Life is all the same.
Stairs go up and stairs come
Down, it's just a game.
They say, hurry, hurry,
Faster, faster, go!
Here's my secret trick:  try
Fewer steps, and slow.
Echoes fade, it's quiet.
No one's looking? Stop.
Hectic, as a diet,
Makes a deathly drop.
Keeping up is easy:
Someone's coming? Pant.
Breathless, faint or queasy—
Fake ten watts, no amp.
Energetic people,
Jumping right past you,
Get rewards so lethal:
Steps to climb anew!

And a wonderful poem that :iconcolornote: wrote inspired by this picture:
