when I was a little boy visiting and visiting Grandpa and ma I would walk to a foot bridge that crossed a switching yard which was immense, I could stand transfixed for hours and watch as the small switch-engines as they called them would pick cars from here and there to make up a train. In my youngest memories the switch-engines were still steam powered and gave off an evil smelling smoke that clung to the ground on humid days..

Thanks and the same right back at you, this is Memorial day weekend here in the states
so it's a 3 day weekend (for those who are still employed that is ;P)
