Yes, let us not even say the "p" word. Frightening indeed. The "good" thing about her is that she is a quitter - has no appetite for anything except the limelight itself. Stopped being governor of Alaska just because she couldn't be bothered. Unfortunately, she attracts media attention which then shifts onto whatever foolish candidate she has chosen to back. Hard to believe she came along at the same time we elected Obama - though in a lot of ways Obama's election energized the worst people in this country, so there is a kind of sense to it.
Campaigning/governing - I had hoped other countries were not so much this way, as ours!
She is just horrible, totally agreed. The idea that she might have the slightest chance to gain a responsible position in a US administration (and I am not mentioning the "p" - word) would scare me in way which I can only remember from cold war times and the SS 20 - issue. Campaigning and government work . this is petty much the same here I should say.
That's true, both the Republican establishment and many "common people" know she has no qualifications for office. She upsets me almost beyond my powers of speech to tell - but she will be through eventually.
Political candidates here are already planning for the very early primary voting in 2012 - there are not enough moments when they actually govern the country rather than campaign.
B. and I recycle a lot of metal and plastic and cardboard, but only garbage is picked up, we have to drive the recyclables to the collection center ourselves. Fortunately we have a nice big basement! But every so often there is no helping it, everything must go.
