boyfriends had to prepare dinner, which was good, as they were getting a bit annoyed by all the attention the girls got
Nele (the daughter of a friend - barbara with the sunglasses and playing beetle) is the small one with the blue sweater. she had prepared those dresses, dyeing, weaving, felting for the competition. the thin one (Merle, just 15 years) is a friend of hers from the riding club and the other (Luisa) her brother's girl friend.
brilliant work those artisans are producing.
its an unfortunate loss that commercial enterprises have given more power to the mass production of 'garbage.' then support the craft of generations...
and of course. this young lady is outstanding. she did an apprenticeship as a weaver and studies as a textile designer. and now she received another award with her work from the local county commission. and it seems that we will have an exhibition of some selected pictures coming up
and i am very glad that my pictures helped along a little bit ...
